Security At The Big Man's Shop we are 100 per cent committed to protecting your security and privacy. We know that when you shop online, you want to know that your name, address, credit card details and any other information you give us is kept safe and secure, and we promise to do that. Once your orders have been received, we ensure that all the details remain secure before, during and after being dealt with. Privacy And because we know how annoying junk mail is, we promise not to pass on your e-mail address, home address or any other details to any party. Furthermore, as required by the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. When you place an order with us or ask for a catalogue we collect information from you which enables us to deal with your requests, including name, address and contact details. We do not collect information which is not relevant to your order or request and only keep details on record for the purpose of serving you in the future. This information is collected through our ordering/registration process or email communications. We send out catalogues twice a year and occassional special offer leaflets to our customers on the mailing list. You may, at any time, ask to be removed from this list and will will not send any more literature. To do this you can send an email hereor telephone/fax/write, stating your name and address asking to be removed. If you do not wish to be placed on the mailing list when placing an order please state so in the 'notes' field of the orderform. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.
